I don’t have migraines but have found it really soothing to the eyes and mind. Bought it for my husband to reduce triggers for vestibular migraine when he works and as a device to help if he has an attack. It helps to lower his threshold every day and we are thankful for this product!

I hesitated to make this purchase but am glad that I did. The green light is soothing, I could feel it in my head/eyes instantly. I was surprised at how good it feels. My son, who doesn’t get migraines, isn’t affected, so it speaks to the tension I didn’t fully realize I experience on an ongoing basis.

The screen allows me to direct the light away when I don’t need direct light. This allows using the least amount of light needed.

I like the practical features too. I can easily move the lamp to different rooms because it doesn’t need to be plugged in, it’s easy to turn on and off with a touch (I attached a small sticker on the on off button so I can turn it on in the dark), and though I haven’t used it, it’s also a white light lamp when you flip it over.

It already feels like the lamp is making a difference. I have treatment resistant migraines - I’ve seriously tried everything. So anything that makes a dent in my daily migraine is a HUGE quality of life improvement. Thank you!!!

This helps with my migraines & my husband's seasonal depressive disorder. It's changed our lives for the better with just 30 minutes to an hour of green use a day. The regular light mode is the only light is all I can use to see at night that won't trigger a headache if I have to get up. I love this lamp!!!! I plan on purchasing a second one for my husband.

It’s beautiful and simple, the green is very relaxing and I love the ability to dim and brighten it easily, as well as the white or green option. I find it very soothing while I have a migraine, however I did. It personally receive reduction in migraine days from it.

I purchased the Allay Lamp because I suffer from migraine. The green light it emits is very relaxing and when I have a migraine attack it is the only light that doesn't bother me. Also, although it obviously can't work miracles, when the pain is not too severe it gives me some relief. I use it daily and I hope that with time it will also help me reduce the frequency of migraines. I think that the "regular" light mode is also very pleasant because it's not too white. Moreover, it keeps the charge for a long time. I'm really glad I bought it!

After four months of using my Allay lamp through several migraines, and testing it on migraine-free days, I am impressed with its performance and grateful that it exists! I am extremely light-sensitive during a migraine attack, and the portable Allay lamp has enabled me to prepare food, clean up the kitchen, do general tasks and read during a migraine. My wife has intractable migraines. She has had the same headache for over 8 years, starting when she was pregnant with our now 7-year-old daughter. With this in mind, we were early adopters of the Allay green lamp, back in September of 2021 when it was still a "soon to be" product.

The lamp has been wonderful, helping daily, and making our life a bit easier, but recently the battery went on the fritz. With the lamp well out of the warranty period, I reached out to Allay for help, looking for options of repair or perhaps a way to replace parts of the lamp.

We were surprised when Jeff, one of the co-founders reached out to us personally, asking clarifying questions while telling us that no, the lamps were not reparable as they had been constructed as a single unit. He then stated that he would be able to help us out regardless, and followed the process through. My wife has chronic migraines, the longest one lasting just over 8 years and counting. Blue light is a trigger, and with this lamp, she has been able to rejoin our family and to see more time with our 7-year-old daughter! I can't express enough how effective this has been.

The portability has been wonderful as well! My wife gets infusion treatments for her migraine, and they often times need to turn on the bright lights to help with them. This lamp allows the infusion centers to do what they need while still allowing my wife to be a part of the conversation without closing her eyes or wearing dark sunglasses! Overall, this is a great product, and the auto-switching between white and green light is SUPER helpful!

I love my Allay lamp and use it every single day! I have chronic migraine and this is the only light source that does not trigger my symptoms. Moreover, it actually decreases my migraine related pain and reduces my anxiety. At night I carry it around the house to get my brain and body ready for sleep and it helps so much.
